How can you #SpreadtheLove this February? Here are two ways we are asking our Smart Girls to get involved:

1. Share your story!

  • Tweet @smrtgrls to share positive, uplifting messages all month long! Use the hashtag #SpreadtheLove and send us your favorite news stories, essays, or Instagram pics!
  • Or write your own story. Tell us all about your own community efforts, give us the scope on an organization you love, or interview a person who inspires you all year long. Submit your stories using our “Contribute” box above! Be sure to select #OperationNice as your subject and make #SpreadtheLove your first line!

2. Join Smart Girls and’s Love Letters Campaign! Create a Valentine’s Day card for a senior in need.

3. Make a Galentine’s Card for that perfect sunflower in your life!

#SpreadtheLove, Smart Girls! We can’t wait to see what you show us.

spreading the love is great. Our social sites, especially facebook, is a tool that can reach into the darkest corners of the world. Perfect for utilizing as “eyes” to help finding a lost child or dog. Facebook has proved its ability to catch a dog abuser in hours, something that probably would not have been achieved without all of us watching out for each other.
I am loving everything. It is a beautiful world full of beautiful people. “We” are more than the bad stuff. Lets kill the evil with love.
